Seni Hazzan is a senior global finance and business transformation executive with over 25 years experience across investment banking (M&A and Corporate Restructuring), private equity, venture capital, and technology industries. Seni started his Investment Banking career with the Goldman Sachs Group on Wall Street and also worked with global financial services companies such as Andersen and PWC advising global private equity clients in transaction execution and deal structuring. He was headhunted in 2008 from the US to lead the restructuring of an emerging market investment banking company as CEO during the global economic crisis of 2008. During the last decade, he led the LBO and restructuring of numerous middle market and family-owned businesses seeking liquidity. He is a respected entrepreneurial financier who invented and trademarked the terms Dealpreneur(R), Dealpreneuring(R),:and Dealpreneurship(R) as mindsets and methodologies for executing business transactions and restructuring.
Seni holds an MBA with concentration in Finance from the Yale School of Management, an MPA with focus on Information Technology, Entrepreneurship, & Development from the University of California, Berkeley and he is currently pursuing a DBA (doctorate degree with focus on Entrepreneurial Finance) at Pepperdine University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA).
Seni is the author of two business books including Rebuilding From Ground Zero – a highly acclaimed personal and business transformation book. He is also a business practitioner-scholar who has held a lecturer position at Berkeley Haas School of Business, was a Guest Lecturer at Harvard University and Guest Speaker at Yale School of Management and other universities on the subject of entrepreneurial finance and startups.
